Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

El Paso State Supported Living Center needs 9 Licensed Vocational Nurses. Please see the details below: Location: - Nursing Department-El Paso State Supported Living Center - 6700 Delta Drive - El Paso, TX 79905 Tentative Start Date: - On or before 09/25/23 Position: - Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) LVN’s Needed: - 9 Shift Availability: - 6:00am –2:00pm – may include weekends – (3 needed) - 2:00pm - 10:00pm – may include weekends – (5 needed) - 10:00pm – 6:00am – may include weekends – (1 needed) Pay: - $35/per hour - $1000 bonus for completing full contract Overtime Pay: - Must be approved by El Paso State Supported Living Center and agency must be notified regarding this directive prior to starting the overtime shift. Days - Monday thru Sunday Term - Minimum of 3 months with option to extend Please Note: The start date commences when all compliance and clearance requirements have been met by the selected candidate. Requirements: - Licensed to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of Texas - Must have proven experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Must be willing to work at El Paso State Supported Living Center, a mental health facility with patients that may have a dual diagnosis. - Must submit to HHSC required drug test (Relode will provide) - Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting (facility will provide) - Must complete facility and HHSC required training (12 days) License, Certification, or Registration Required: - Must be licensed by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners as Licensed Vocational Nurse - Must be in good standing and must maintain that license while providing services at El Paso State Supported Living Center. - Must be certified by the American Heart Association –BLS in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and maintain that certification while providing services at the El Paso State Supported Living Center.

Qualifications

• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • Regular Driver License (DL)
• LVN (2+ years)
