Rad Technologist Electrophysiology Cardiac-Contract LOCATION Glens Falls, NY JOB TYPE Temp OPENINGS 1 DESCRIPTION The Cardiac Catheterization Lab provides care to both the acute inpatient population as well as the elective outpatient population. Staff is available 24/7 for any emergency procedure during off hours, weekends, and holidays. Care is provided through an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians, registered clinical nurses, registered radiology technologists, and cardiovascular technologists. Cardiac Catheterization Interventional Angiography (stenting) Echocardiogram Transesophageal Echocardiogram Pacemaker/ICD Insertion and Generator Change Cardiac Monitor Implant/Explant Cardioversion Electrophysiology Study Cardiac Ablation CardioMEMS Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). Traveler must be available for call coverage on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year Eve and New Year Day. RTO during these holidays will not be approved. Previous Cath Lab experience - Required Experience with Adolescent-Geriatric - Required NY Rad Tech License - Required to inject contrast dye per NYS guidelines ARRT (R) - Required to inject contrast dye per NYS guidelines Profile Requirements: Work History Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment) License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY State Rad Tech License, ARRT and BLS - Facility will not pend license/certs) CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS ARRT BLS (AHA) STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS New York ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS NY license must be in hand at profile upload. Facility will not pend license HOURS PER DAY 0 DURATION DESCRIPTION 13 weeks SHIFT NOTES Monday-Friday Rotating 7-3,8-4 and 9-5 or 4x10 hour shifts 7-5PM; 30 or 32hr guarantee WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS Every 4th weekend and HOLIDAY CALL REQUIRED

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
• Cath Lab (2+ years)
• Are you willing to be on call for holidays?
