Social Worker - LMSW - Adult Behavioral Health - temp LOCATION Owosso, MI **Submission Requirements ** I cannot submit a candidate to the client without the below documents added to their Relode profile. -Up to date resume -2 Supervisory References within the last 2 years -Licenses/Certifications -COVID and Flu vaccination status -Skills checklist (doc is attached to this job) DESCRIPTION The Social Worker is responsible for creating outcomes for the patient and family by managing complex psychosocial and economic co-morbidities. -Provides education and consultation regarding resources, collaborates to develop a discharge plan and facilitates and monitors its implementation. -Assists patient/family adjust to and cope with illness, diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis. -Through advanced practice skills mobilizes resources to reduce risk, serves as a liaison between the hospital and the community. -In addition, offers crisis interventions to patient/family. -Strives for superior performance by consistently providing a product of service to leadership and staff that is recognized as ultimately contributing to the patient and family experience. -As a customer-focused Memorial Healthcare team member, he/she must be accessible, flexible, knowledgeable, and responsive. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS 2+ years of experience - Required Master's degree in social work from an accredited college or university - Required LMSW - Required Mental Health Experience running psychotherapy groups - Required At least two years of experience in an inpatient or outpatient facility - preferred Clinical grief counseling experience - preferred Covid Vaccine - Required STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Michigan ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Active at time of submission! HOURS PER DAY 8 DURATION DESCRIPTION 13 Weeks SHIFT NOTES 7:30A - 4:00P (8 Hour Days) / 5 days one week, 4 days the next week / Every Other or Every Third Weekend / No Call (32 Hour Guarantee) WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS Every Other Weekend or Every Third Weekend

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher
• Valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Michigan (MI)
• 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • LMSW
  • Mental Health Experience running psychotherapy groups
  • Inpatient Facility
  • Outpatient Facility
  • Clinical grief counseling experience
