Medical Director - Hematologist Oncologist

Overview

Our client, St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates, is seeking a full-time Hematologist Oncologist to serve as Medical Director for their outstanding and well-established Cancer Care program at St. Peter's and Samaritan Hospitals located in Albany and Troy, New York. The successful candidate will lead a team of physicians and advanced practitioners, providing both Oncological and Hematological care, and overseeing outpatient clinics located on hospital campuses. The role offers a competitive salary range, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional development. Compensation range: $450,000 and $600,000 per year. The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Key Responsibilities ● Lead a team of five physicians and four advanced practitioners ● Provide both Oncological and Hematological care ● Manage outpatient clinics located on hospital campus ● Participate in tumor boards program and grand rounds ● Treat a wide range of cancers including access to high quality surgical services ● Supervise and coordinate patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings Schedule and Shift Details ● Clinic Mon-Fri, 40 hour work week, days. Qualifications

• Doctorate degree
• ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Board Certified Internal Medicine
  • Medical Doctor (MD) in New York (NY)
  • Board Certified Hematology/Oncology
• Valid Board Eligible
• ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
