Overview

Scrub Tech-Temp LOCATION Lansing, MI OPENINGS 2 DESCRIPTION Under the direct or indirect supervision of an RN, functions primarily in the scrub role on the OR team. Assists the team in providing quality individualized patient care during the perioperative phase of the patient's surgical experience. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS 6 months Experience - Required HTV Experience- Cardiovascular Experience - Required National Cert not required, but preferred Health system-wide profile standards References NOT required. A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred. Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit, it would be in the traveler’s best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the manager's review. Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above. Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment. Dress Code: Facility provided Scrubs EMR: Cerner CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BLS HOURS PER DAY 12 DURATION DESCRIPTION 13 weeks SHIFT NOTES W-F 36 hours (7am-7:30pm) WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS None

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Scrub Tech
  • HTV
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Surgery - Cardiovascular
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) in Michigan (MI)
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Michigan (MI)
