Technologist - Cardiovascular LOCATION Flint MI JOB TYPE Temp OPENINGS 3 START DATE 11/13/2023 DESCRIPTION A skilled Cardiovascular Technician should be able to perform a range of duties and responsibilities to support physicians and surgeons. They are primarily responsible for operating special imaging equipment to assess patients before, during and after medical procedures pertaining to the heart and lungs SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS --2+ Years of experience - Required ---Ortho, General, Endo-Vascular, Urgo, OB Experience - Preferred --Health system-wide profile standards --References NOT required. --A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred. --Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit, it would be in the traveler’s best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the manager's review. --Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above. --Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BLS (AHA) Dress Code: Hospital Provided Scrubs DURATION DESCRIPTION 13 Weeks SHIFT NOTES 730a-6p (40 per week) and one to be 8a-830p (36 per week) WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS every 6th weekend (Friday @ 515pm- 7a Monday) and one night every 2-3 weeks (515p-7a).

Qualifications

• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) in Michigan (MI)
• Associate degree or higher
• Cardiovascular Technician (2+ years)
• 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Orthopedic
  • Endo-Vascular
  • Surgery - Urological
  • Obstetrics & Gynecology
