Registered Nurse - Clinical Coordinator -Perinatal LOCATION Peterborough NH JOB TYPE Perm OPENINGS 1 START DATE 11/27/2023 12:00:00 AM DESCRIPTION ***URGENT POSITION. NOW OFFERING AN UP TO $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS**** (Sign-on Bonus Payment Schedule: $5,000 on first check, $2,500 after 6 months, $2,500 after 1 year) Salary Expectations: $28.90/hour - $46.23/hour (***willing to accommodate higher salary requests for a candidate with significant experience) Job Summary: In collaboration with the Nurse Manager of the Birthing Suite, the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Medical Officer of Monadnock Community Hospital as well as the Pediatricians, Obstetricians, and OB nursing staff, the Perinatal Safety Nurse/Clinical Leader will assist with and oversee the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of a comprehensive interdisciplinary Perinatal Quality and OB Education Program. The Perinatal Safety Nurse-Clinical Leader will assist with the ongoing yearly OB staff education necessary for staff to maintain their skills and competencies in Labor and Delivery. This individual will oversee the orientation and education of any new hires and set up the necessary Skills days and Simulations throughout the year to meet National Patient Safety Goals. Any candidate that has applied directly is not eligible to be onboarded through an agency. 10+ Years of OB/L&D experience - Required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Required Fetal Monitoring or Inpatient Obstetrics experience to be able to provide education to the L&D staff including the OB Physicians and Pediatricians for Skills days - Required NRP Certification - Required AWHONN Certification - Required STABLE Certification - Required BSN (or better) - Preferred Current NH RN licensure - Required CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS --AWHONN --NRP --STABLE STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS New Hampshire Compact Allowed ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS NH License must be active at time of submission! HOURS PER DAY 12 SHIFT NOTES Day Shift - Variable (36 hours/week)
Qualifications

10+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- OB/L&D
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Fetal Monitoring
- Inpatient Obstetrics
- Associate degree or higher

ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- AWHONN in New Hampshire (NH)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) in New Hampshire (NH)
- STABLE in New Hampshire (NH)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) in New Hampshire (NH)
- Registered Nurse (RN) in New Hampshire (NH)
