We are excited to announce an immediate opening for a Pediatric CNA/HHA in our Medical Daycare, a prominent provider of Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) in Florida. This non-traditional role blends aspects of medical care, childcare, and teaching, making it a uniquely rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about pediatric care. We cater to children ages 0-21 who require a nursing intervention due to physical needs. Currently, our hours of operation are 6 AM -6 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday openings as need arises. Join our team and make a difference today! PAY: $15.50 an hour JOB TYPE: - Full-time WORK LOCATION: - 1236 Blountstown Hwy. Tallahassee, FL 32304s - In person SCHEDULE: - Monday to Friday, Split Shift - 6am - 10am - 2pm - 6pm BENEFITS: - Dental insurance - Flexible spending account - Health insurance - Health savings account - Life insurance - Paid time off - Vision insurance EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university - Or, 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - One (1) year of professional experience in the care of infants and toddlers. - Note: You will have to provide employment references documenting skill in the care of infants or children. EXPERIENCE: - infant/toddler: 1 year (Required) CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: - Current Florida HHA or CNA license is required. - BLS Certification is required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Providing compassionate care for children aged 0-21, including assisting with daily living activities and helping with transportation needs. Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Engaging children in educational and developmental activities, making a significant contribution to their growth and potential. Delivering excellent customer service to both the children and their families, ensuring a positive and supportive environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands of the position may include standing, walking, lifting, and carrying objects, and performing various patient care activities. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This role is based in a dynamic, fast-paced medical daycare setting that can be quite busy and at times chaotic. The nature of the environment requires an individual who can maintain calmness and professionalism under pressure. Moderate noise levels are to be expected due to active care and engagement with children. It's important that the successful candidate can effectively adapt to these conditions while continuously providing high-quality care to our patients. COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS: We are following CDC guidelines. Should this risk modify, the mask mandate will as well.
Qualifications
- High School/GED

ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Florida (FL)
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS) in Florida (FL)
- Regular Driver License (DL) in Florida (FL)

2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Pediatric Care
- direct care
- Have you received both doses of the Covid-19 Vaccine?
