RN - Behavioral Health - Inpatient LOCATION Glens Falls NY JOB TYPE Temp OPENINGS 1 Rate: 55-58/hr **COVID vaccinations not required, however strongly encouraged. Average daily census: 20 patients RN to patient ratio: 1:9 (depending on census) Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric Average stay length: 5-7 days EMR: Cerner Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies. Thank you! Minimum 2+ years of Behavioral Heath Unit experience - Required ABSOLUTELY NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR THESE NEEDS. Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Patients - Required Recent travel experience Experience with de-escalation of agitated patients De-Escalation Training of any kind, CPI or NAPPI/Welle Certifications- Preferred Cerner experience - Preferred Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented Unit Profile Requirements: Work History Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment) License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS and CPI - Facility will not pend license/certs) CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BLS (AHA) CPI STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS New York ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS License must be active at time of submission! HOURS PER DAY 12 DURATION DESCRIPTION 13 weeks SHIFT NOTES 6.45a 7.15p 36hrs scheduled, 24hr guarantee. WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS Every Other Weekend/Holiday rotation required

Qualifications

Required
  • 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Behavioral Heath Unit
    • Pediatric Care
    • Adolescent Care
    • Adult Care
    • Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
    • RN
  • Associate degree or higher
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Registered Nurse (RN) in New York (NY)
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) in New York (NY)
  • Are you fully vaccinated against covid19?
