Senior Accountant

Overview

Required skills and experience: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Reconcile bank statements. Assist in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and financial statements. Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations. Assist in the year-end closing, audit, and tax filings. Compile necessary documentation and explanations for audit inquiries. Collaborate with the Finance team on process improvements and efficiency initiatives. Willing to take on new responsibilities and tasks as the company grows and evolves. What you need to know: 3+ years of Sage Intacct experience. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Progress towards CPA is a plus. 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a start-up or technology environment. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft excel. Strong attention to detail and work ethic Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Sage Intacct (3+ years)
• 3+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Month End Close
  • Year End Close
  • Maintaining financial records including AP, AR and GL entries.
