Overview
Our client is seeking a Clinical Counselor to provide EAP services to a diverse patient population, childhood through adults. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing psychotherapy or counseling to individuals and/or couples, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. This role requires a Master's degree and relevant licensure. The Clinical Counselor will be responsible for evaluating and treating problems within their scope of practice, coordinating and planning programs to meet clients' social and emotional needs, and maintaining accurate client records. Key Responsibilities ● Provide EAP services to diverse patient population, childhood through adults ● Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals and/or couples ● Interview clients to gather and interpret social, personal, environmental, and health information ● Evaluate and treat problems within scope of practice ● Coordinate and plan programs and activities to meet clients' social and emotional needs ● Facilitate cognitive, affective, and behavioral health cases, including short-term crisis resolution and referrals to community resources ● Establish and maintain a relationship of mutual respect, acceptance, and trust ● Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment services provided to the client ● Identify appropriate resources and assessment instruments, as needed ● Document findings in client records according to established protocol ● Keep case load as required and ensure case documentation is up-to-date and reflective of services ● Provide individual clinical counseling Schedule and Shift Details ● Flexible schedule, up to 40 hours a week. 7a - 6pm Mon-Thurs, 6a - 5pm on Fri.
