Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher
• 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
  • Medical/Surgical (MedSurg)
• ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts (MA)

Overview

As a Med Surg Float Nurse, you will provide essential nursing care to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities ● Provide nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit ● Maintain accurate patient records ● Administer medications and treatments as prescribed ● Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care ● Adhere to hospital policies and procedures Schedule and Shift Details ● 12-hour night shifts with a 36-hour guarantee. Every other weekend and holidays required if needed.
