Medical Assistant

Overview

Our client is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to assist in examination, treatment, & testing of patients under the direction of healthcare professionals. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, using EPIC for patient scheduling/interviewing, measuring vital signs, performing laboratory tests, and providing administrative support. Key Responsibilities ● Assist in examination, treatment, & testing of patients under the direction of physician, advanced practitioner and/or RN ● Prepare treatment rooms ● Use EPIC to schedule/interview patients ● Measure vital signs ● Perform CLIA waived & phlebotomy laboratory tests & operate EKG equipment ● Perform certain administrative tasks ● Provide assistance at the front desk Schedule and Shift Details: ● 3 days a week on M-TH only. 8:30AM - 5PM, No Friday coverage needed. *Must be Covid Vaccinated

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Epic
  • Epic ASAP
  • Epic Research
• Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
