Overview
Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Transportation Specialist to provide safe and reliable transportation for frail, nursing home eligible seniors to the PACE center, medical appointments, and offsite activities. This role plays a critical part in supporting the participants' care plan and ensuring their safety and well-being. Key Responsibilities ● Transport participants to and from the center, offsite activities, and specialist appointments ● Partner closely with the transportation coordinator and IDT to observe and report changes in participants' physical and psychosocial status ● Ensure participant safety when entering, within, and exiting the vehicle ● Maintain vehicle and equipment quality by providing consistent maintenance ● Conduct pre-inspection of assigned vehicles before use, reporting any defects to the transportation coordinator ● Assist center staff during downtime, escorting participants between activities and rooms, cleaning after events, supporting with activities Schedule and Shift Details ● This is a full-time role with a 40-hour work week. On-call schedule may be assigned. Qualifications

ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Class B drivers license in California (CA)
- Car Insurance
- Clean Driving Record
- Have you applied or worked for myPlace Health in the last 12 months?
- Have you spoken to a recruiter by phone about this role?
- High School/GED
- Do you live in LA or willing to commute every day to LA?

2+ years of experience in ALL of the following:
- Experience in operating wheelchair lift or wheelchair procurement process
- Transporting Elderly Participants
- Have you worked for a nursing home, assisted living or for any healthcare entity involving elderly participants as a Driver?
- Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- Do you have any experience working for a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model?
- Experience in non-emergency transportation or public transportation (1+ years)
