Personal Care Attendant - Bilingual (Korean)

Overview
As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide outstanding care to frail and vulnerable older adults in the community. You will interact in a friendly, courteous and professional manner with participants and their family/caregivers, providing personal care and escort assistance in alignment with participants’ treatment plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to monitor for changes in participants’ conditions. Key Responsibilities: ● Supports participants with activities of daily living in the clinic and center, and occasionally the home. Support may include escorting, toileting, bathing, grooming, laundry and assistance with meals ● Assists participants with entering and exiting transportation vehicles and acting as a medical escort when instructed ● Escorts participants to offsite medical appointments ● Conducts daily physical activities in assisting frail elders in ergonomic manner to avoid injury ● Assists with food service delivery and monitoring during mealtimes ● Support participants during mealtime by ensuring participants receive the correct meals and aiding participants in feeding as needed ● Maintains personal care supplies such as incontinence supplies and personal grooming items ● Carries out orders from the interdisciplinary team regarding personal care services and/or monitoring of participant status ● Communicates effectively to participants, families, staff and other agencies Schedule and Shift Details ● This role can expect to be on-site up to 5 days per week. Qualifications

1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Geriatric Care
- Senior Care
- Geriatric/LTC
- Valid Drivers License in California (CA)
- Bilingual - Korean/English (1+ years)

1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Personal Care attendant
- CNA
- Home Health Aide
