Overview

Our client is seeking a full-time Board Certified Cardiac Surgical ARNP/PA with experience in Cardiovascular Surgery and ICU to join the team in Dubuque, IA. The provider will be involved in perioperative management of patients, consultations, placing orders, discharge summaries, and patient teaching. The role requires experience working as NP/PA in Cardiovascular Surgery and ICU. Key Responsibilities ● Ability to perform minor surgical procedures, be involved in perioperative management of patients, consultations, placing orders, discharge summaries, and patient teaching. ● The provider will provide care for hospitalized patients in both the pre-operative and post-operative settings. Schedule and Shift Details ● Hours are Monday – Friday call required with physicians supporting time off.

Qualifications

Required
  • Master's degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Cardiac Intervention Unit (CIU)
    • Cardiology
    • Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in Iowa (IA)
    • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in Iowa (IA)
  • Valid American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
