Critical Care Nurse

Overview

As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide essential nursing care to patients in a 20-bed unit at our client. You will be responsible for maintaining patient ratio at 1:2 and adhering to the dress code. Your willingness to float to PCU as needed is crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities ● Provide critical care nursing to patients in a 20-bed unit ● Maintain patient ratio at 1:2 ● Adhere to dress code: Personal scrubs of any color ● Willingness to float to PCU as needed Schedule and Shift Details ● 12hr Nights, 36hr OR 48hr guarantee - Will float to PCU as needed Travel ● Local travel requirements

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher
• 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Critical Care
  • Critical Care Unit (CCU)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA PALS)
• Valid American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts (MA)
• Vent, ICP Monitoring and Hemodynamic Monitoring (1+ years)
