Job Title: Director of Labor and Delivery The Highlights: -340-bed community hospital offering a full range of healthcare services -Lead the state in minimally-invasive procedures with da Vinci robotic-assisted surgeries -Top performer on Key Quality Measures including: surgical care, perinatal care, prematurity, and pulmonary care amongst many others Necessary Qualifications: -Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia as a registered nurse -Previous Experience as a Nurse Manager or Director -Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in L&D -Graduate from a Bachelor’s in Nursing program Schedule: No Weekends Job Description: The Director of L&D provides leadership to assigned nursing unit(s) with responsibility for planning, directing and evaluating the patient care and services provided. The tasks and responsibilities include: -Manages personnel in the accomplishment of designated goals and the provision of nursing care and services. -Upholds the vision and values of woman-centered care, and respectful maternity care (RMC). -Ensures departmental compliance with regulatory and JCAHO requirements. -Monitors and adheres to annual hospital operating budget.
