Overview

As a Sterile Processing Technician at our client, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards in decontamination, assembly, inspection, and preparation of surgical instruments for sterilization. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment ensuring the quality and safety of medical equipment. Join our client's dedicated team and contribute to our commitment to providing top-notch healthcare services. Salary Range: $16.72/hour - $27.30/hour (dependent on previous work experience) (SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS: Evening - $1.10/hour, Night - $1.25/hour, Weekend - $1.25/hour) Key Responsibilities ● Maintaining high standards for decontamination, assembly, inspection, and preparing the surgical instruments/equipment for sterilization ● Maintaining consistency and continuous workflow between the OR, Central Processing and the facility as a whole while practicing above average customer service ● Performing duties as a SPD Technician independently, working proficiently without supervision and being qualified to train new employees ● Working in conjunction with the Pharmacy to re-supply crash carts with IV fluids and medications ● Serving as a resource to all CSSPD customers ● Cleaning, issuing patient care equipment and supplies Schedule and Shift Details ● Shift options available: night and days.

Qualifications

Required
  • High School/GED
  • Central Sterile Processing (1+ years)
  • Valid Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
  • Are you Certified through the HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) or CBSPD with the CRCST or CSPDT?
