- Psychiatry

- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Texas (TX)
- Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
Overview
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at our client's psychiatric residential treatment facility, you will provide care to teenagers with emotional difficulties and/or behavioral problems. Your responsibilities include routine LVN tasks, medication administration, documentation, and client education. Experience in responding to medical/psychiatric crises and direct client care is preferred. Key Responsibilities ● Perform routine LVN work ● Prepare and administer medication ● Transcribe physician’s orders ● Perform focused care & treatment of clients ● Document patient behaviors, medication administration, condition changes and other changes ● Maintain accountability of medication ● Provide education to client and/or family ● Perform other duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse, Chief Nurse Executive, and/or Assistant Nurse Executive Schedule and Shift Details ● Mon-Fri 2:00pm-10:30pm shift, Weekend Doubles with an option for (1) 8-hour shift during the week
