Overview
As the Medical Director for our client's Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in Wilmington, DE, you will be responsible for providing medical direction, overseeing participant care, and ensuring clinical outcomes. This role requires a Doctorate degree, board certifications, and experience working with the elderly population. You will lead a collaborative team, develop medical policies, and contribute to the overall success of the program. Salary range: $231,000 - $280,000 depending upon experience Key Responsibilities ● Provide general medical direction and supervision of participant care ● Oversee Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program ● Develop and maintain medical policies and procedures ● Supervise Primary Care Providers and APPs ● Provide leadership and guidance to program colleagues and providers ● Conduct history and physical assessments ● Interview and evaluate applicants to PACE Organization ● Educate participants and families regarding health maintenance ● Supervise health care and treatment program ● Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests ● Participate in provider on-call rotation Schedule and Shift Details ● Standard work schedule with occasional regional travel Travel ● Occasional regional travel
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree

1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Geriatric Care
- Senior Care
- Geriatric/LTC

ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Board Certified
- Medical Doctor (MD) in Delaware (DE)
- Valid Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS)
- Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
