MSN and a minimum of 1 year full time clinical experience in home health agency or community agency that care for sick in the home -or- BSN and minimum of 3 years' full time recent clinical experience in nurse, at least 1 year in home health agency or community agency that care for sick in the home -or- ASN or RN Diploma and minimum 3 years full-time within the last 5 years- one year of which was in home health care agency or community agency which care for the sick at home 2. Hospice experience / regulatory knowledge (no exceptions) 3. The ability to directly supervise up to 30 colleagues Job Description: The Director of Clinical Services directs and manages the interdisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the hospice patient and family. S/he communicates patient information to the business office and promotes a positive working relationship with the family, physician, and other agencies. May serve as Program’s Alternate Administrator, responsible for carrying out administrative and management functions and oversight in the absence of the Executive Director/Administrator. May carry caseload due to ebb and flow of patient census. S/he is responsible for applying the rules and regulations of state and federal regulatory agencies and other certified agencies.
