MRI Technologist

Overview

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures on patients of all ages and ensuring high levels of customer service. You will operate MRI equipment, explain procedures to patients, and ensure patient comfort. Your role will involve adjusting equipment controls, assisting the Radiologist, and interacting with various computer programs. Salary Range: $29.00/hour - $43.00/hour (based on education and experience) ($2.00 shift and weekend differential) Relocation Allowance: Up to $5,000 (will be discussed further during interview) Key Responsibilities ● Perform MRI procedures on all patient populations (neonate through geriatric) ● Operate MRI equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings ● Explain procedures to the patient and ensure patient comfort ● Use proper positioning with the appropriate coil and research implanted devices as needed ● Adjust equipment controls based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines ● Assist the Radiologist when necessary ● Interact with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis Schedule and Shift Details ● Shift times may vary. Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
