Job Title: Lead Surgical Tech The Highlights: - Hospital received the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence from Healthgrades and also a national distinction for patient safety from The Leapfrog Group. - Recipient of the Thomas Reuters Top 100 Hospitals - The only Hybrid Operating Room (OR) in the county; as well as emergency services in a 24-hour emergency department, including advanced trauma care with a Level II Trauma Center Necessary Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program; Recent clinical experience and competency in designated specialties. - Current BCLS certification issued by the American Heart Association - Surgical Technologists that graduate after September 1, 2009 must hold and maintain a current certification as a Surgical Technologist within 180 days from the date of graduation. Schedule: Full-time, Rotating weekends Job Description: The Lead Surgical Technologist, under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Surgery and the direction of the Manager of Surgery, accepts overall responsibility for a designated surgical area of specialty.
