Overview

Our client in Coos Bay, OR is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Intermediate Care Unit. The ideal candidate should have recent acute care hospital experience and be proficient in critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. Key Responsibilities ● Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients. ● Teaches patients and significant others. ● Documents patient care in the medical record. ● Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient. Schedule and Shift Details ● Day Shift or Night Shift // 12hr/36hrs/week // 80-hours per two-week pay period

Qualifications

Required
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Acute Care (1+ years)
  • 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Long Term Acute Care (LTAC/LTACH)
    • Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
    • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
    • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in Oregon (OR)
