CEP America is the largest provider of physician staffing for comprehensive management of emergency departments in California. - Top performing hospital in the San Jose Metropolitan area according to US News & World Report - Close-knit, collaborative team; providing excellent quality patient care Necessary Qualifications: - California Registered Nurse, - Bachelor’s Degree, - BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC, - 5 years nursing experience in a critical care area that cares for trauma patients (i.e. ICU, ED) Schedule: Full-time, Days with No Weekends Job Description: The Trauma Outreach and Injury Prevention Coordinator provide trauma education and training to healthcare providers (i.e., nurses, EMS providers, other healthcare providers) and intended target audiences. Performs and assists with injury prevention research and injury prevention programs that are consistent with the community needs, the Medical Center code of conduct, Trauma Performance Improvement Plan, and professional organizational standards. The position plays an integral role in research efforts related to trauma center data analysis and evidence based research activities.
