Overview
West Texas Opportunity for a Psychiatrist is available in a managed care environment. The physician diagnoses and treats patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Provides professional services related to diagnosis and treatment of patients. Insures that appropriate mental health care is accessible and provided to the patient population in a timely fashion, regardless of segregation status. Renders judgment regarding care provided to adult patients assigned to the unit. Required Qualifications Current license to practice medicine by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. Current Drug Enforcement Agency certificate. Preferred Qualifications Basic computer and Electronic Medical Records experience. Minimum Hire Rate salary commensurate with related education, experience and/or skills. Pay Statement Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected. Schedule: Locum *This is a contract position. Estimate based on anticipated hourly bill rate multiplied by expected hours billed per month-minus actual pay rate, expenses (including but not limited to malpractice, credentialing, travel, taxes, benefits, etc). How much you actually make may vary depending on schedules, shifts, location, and other factors.*
