Overview

As a Medicaid Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping underserved seniors access essential care and support through Medicaid and Medicare applications. Key Responsibilities ● Initiate, assist, and manage Medicaid applications for prospective participants ● Conduct home visits to assist participants with completing the Medi-Cal application process ● Maintain accurate documentation and record participant enrollment information ● Adhere strictly to DHCS and CMS regulations and policies ● Collaborate with Finance Department for data analysis and reporting ● Monitor and maintain participants' Medicaid eligibility ● Provide community resources to prospective participants and families/caregivers ● Collaborate with government specialists for required documentation Schedule and Shift Details ● Hybrid, flexible schedule. Traveling to enrollees homes/remote. M-F 8a-5p. Qualifications

Required
  • 2+ years of experience in ALL of the following:
    • Clinical Documentation
    • Case Management
    • Medi-Cal Eligibility experience
    • Medicaid Experience
  • High School/GED
  • Have you worked or applied at Myplace Health within the last 90 days?
  • Have you spoken to a recruiter via phone regarding this position?
  • Valid CA driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, a good driving record, and auto insurance
  • Are you bilingual?
Preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • PACE Model Experience
    • Working with Elderly
    • In-Home Visits
