Clinical Educator Nashville, TN Full Time (M-F, 8am-5pm) The Clinical Educator is an experienced registered nurse with advanced knowledge and training in a health care specialty. The Clinical Educator assumes responsibility for all activities related to assessment, coordination, planning, implementation, and evaluation of education and training programs for clinical staff. The Clinical Educator participates in development and mentoring of staff. S/he supports delivery of evidenced-based practice and is instrumental in creating a professional clinical climate. The Clinical Educator may teach a wide-variety of subjects, spanning from general nursing practices to focused areas of specialization. The Clinical Educator is involved in patient education processes including development of policies, procedures, patient education materials and preparing staff to provide quality patient /caregiver education.
