Overview

As an MRI Technologist, you will perform diagnostic MRI exams under general supervision. Your responsibilities include verifying patient identity, explaining procedures, reviewing images, participating in process improvement, and providing imaging education. This is a full-time position based in Detroit, MI. Key Responsibilities ● Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness. ● Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits. ● Review images, document exceptions, and communicate data to radiologist. ● Participate in process improvement activities within radiology practice. ● Provide imaging education to residents, student technologists, and new employees. ● Able to take call/standby as required. Schedule and Shift Details ● Days, Afternoons, or Rotating shifts available. 8 or 10 hour shifts. Rotating Weekends, On-Call required.

Qualifications

Required
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Meditech MRI – Medical Records (1+ years)
  • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
    • CPR certification is accepted in addition to BLS
