Overview

Required skills and experience: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited radiology program. ARRT- R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) and AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE)- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association. The experience acquired during radiology program and student clinical training. What you need to know: JOB SUMMARY: Takes radiologic films providing quality images to physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares and positions patients for x-rays, selecting appropriate exposure factors. Administers contrast media and medications according to regulations. Monitors patients during procedures and reports abnormalities. Follows radiation safety guidelines and ensures minimal radiation exposure. Verifies exam orders and patient identity, ensuring HIPAA compliance. Manages oxygen therapy, including adjusting flow rates and changing tanks. Accesses electronic health records, inputs requisitions, and provides imaging history to physicians. Operating room expectations: Operates and troubleshoots C-arm equipment, maintains sterility, assists RN as needed, archives images, and positions the C-arm according to the surgeon's requirements while documenting patient dose Interview process: Phone screen with relode Job Manager Phone screen with Indeed Hire Interview with Client Job selling points: PAY: $24-$37/hour SCHEDULE: Night shift full time, (3)12’s or (4)10’s Additional job details:

Qualifications

Required
  • High School/GED
  • ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Graduate of an accredited radiology program
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE)
    • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • Do you have the experience acquired during radiology program and student clinical training.
