Director of Nursing - OR
Overview
Our client is currently looking for a Director of Nursing for their Operating Room who is an independent decision-maker in a wide variety of situations, self-motivated, and personable. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Department administrator: Establishes and enforces policies, procedures, standards, and objectives. - Directs and supervises staff and workflow. - Accountable for budgeting and fiscal responsibilities - Responsible for the ongoing effective operation of the assigned nursing department, supporting the hospital’s mission, and focusing on patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and the community as customers. - Ongoing accountability for the continuous assessment, improvement, coordination, and integration of the department services and standards of care into the hospital’s primary function. - Position is responsible for approving timekeeping, employee evaluation, meeting applicable regulatory standards, approving supply orders, and department strategic planning. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management or related field, or equivalent minimum experience is required - Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required - Current Arizona Registered Nurse License - Training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy from a nationally recognized provider is required - WOCN Registered is preferred SCHEDULE: 8 hour shifts, Mon - Fri, on-call required as needed BENEFITS: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in Arizona (AZ)
- Supervisory Experience (3+ years)
- Training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy from a nationally recognized provider? (WOCN preferred)

- Operating Room (OR)
- Wound Care
- Hyberbaric Therapy
