Nursing Director - Emergency Services

Overview

As the Emergency Services Nursing Director, you are responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department including all aspects of patient care, budgeting, staffing and quality assurance. Provides the framework for the strategic goals of the department and coordination of the activities of the assigned division in order to execute daily operations and meet the objectives of the hospital Plan for the Provision of Patient Care. Implements standards and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing care delivered. Has administrative responsibility for assigned departments and for program development within the Department of Patient Care Services. Works collaboratively with medical staff and hospital administration to personalize the Piedmont Medical Center strategic plan. Leads and participates in development of programs and services to meet the needs of the community. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing - 3+ years experience as a Director/Manager in Level 3 ED Trauma center is required. - Multi-State RN License - BLS SCHEDULE: 8 hour shifts, Mon - Fri, on-call required as needed BENEFITS: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Annual Incentive Plan - Performance based bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in South Carolina (SC)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
• Manager/Director in Level 3 ED Trauma Center (3+ years)
• Do you hold a multi-state RN license?
