Job Title: Nurse- Labor & Delivery (Nights) The Highlights: - Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission - The Cancer Care Center is accredited by the Commission on Cancer by the American College of Surgeons. - The Joseph M. Still Burn Center is verified by the American Burn Association. Necessary Qualifications: - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an AD, Diploma, or BSN degree. - Must hold a current license from the Georgia Board of Nursing. BLS required upon hire. - NRP required within 6 months. Schedule: Full-time, Nights (7pm - 7am) Job Description: Provides general nursing care to patients in hospital. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients. Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient’s condition and reaction to drugs, treatments and significant incidents.
