MRI Technologist

Overview

As an MRI Technologist at our client, you will be responsible for conducting and assisting in CT/MRI examinations, providing patient care activities, and ensuring the proper utilization of the Radiology Information System. Your role will involve administering contrast materials, maintaining patient confidentiality, and performing various imaging procedures. Key Responsibilities ● Utilizes power injector. ● Administration of contrast materials. ● Begins and maintains IVs. ● Patient confidentiality. ● Anticipates patient needs and establishes rapport with patient and family. ● Proficiency in operating equipment. ● Develop films. ● Schedules exams. ● Performs record keeping duties in all accurate and timely fashion. ● Performs clerical duties. ● Transports patients to and from Radiology Department. ● Performs quality assurance. ● Participates and implements age specific care and interaction. ● Prepares and positions patients for scan according to the Radiology Department procedures. ● Sets up equipment as necessary for the specific examination and performs exams. Qualifications

• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
