Overview
Our client in Coos Bay, OR is seeking a Registered Nurse - Float to apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice. The ideal candidate should be able to prioritize and adapt to rapidly-changing patient and unit needs, exhibit critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and effectively coordinate overall patient care. Key Responsibilities ● Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients ● Teaches patients and significant others ● Documents patient care in the medical record ● Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient Schedule and Shift Details ● Varied Shift 8-80 // 80-hours per two-week pay period
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher
- Agile (1+ years)

1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Physician Informatics

ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)

- American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC ALS)
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in Oregon (OR)
