Principal Consultant Location: Remote As a Principal Consultant, you will be part of and supporting the growth of one of the most dynamic consultative teams in Information Risk Management and Cybersecurity. This position has significant interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, customers, partners, subcontractors and potential investors. This position requires a strong customer service orientation and the ability to work independently on a variety of projects simultaneously, quickly develop trusting relationships with a variety of healthcare compliance and information system professionals, read and readily comprehend Federal and State security and privacy regulations, security and/or privacy policies and procedures, and assess their relevance to specific situations, pose questions and listen to Customer responses effectively so as to draw out essential facts, data, business process descriptions, sensitivities, and perspectives. Who you are… • Knowledgeable. You know HIPAA, the Healthcare Industry and understand risk analysis, risk response and risk management. NIST, GRC, CIA (not superspies!), CFR are acronyms you recognize. • Study and learn new subject matter and context quickly. Maintain market and subject matter awareness by reading and sharing with colleagues, relevant blogs, articles, and other published material • Prior experience and proven success planning, developing materials and delivering training on technical subject matter and software products • Experienced. 15-20 years of cybersecurity and information risk management experience within the healthcare industry. • Excellent written communication skills, in particular, regarding information system, security and/or privacy subject matter, policies and procedures • Relevant technical training, project management training, and certifications such as: CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM, HCISPP, CIPP, CHPS, etc • Highly-effective verbal communications and presentation skills in a Customer setting MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Deliver Professional Service engagements to Customers based on contracted Statements of Work (“SOW(s)”), any relevant Customer policies, company-defined templates and delivery processes and our Standards of Service; • Provide support, planning, scheduling, project set up, and project management for assigned engagements and lend backup support and assistance as required and/or requested by members of the Services Delivery Team • Proactively participate in Product Innovation Team meetings, provide input Product Innovation on product defects, enhancements, and overall design, based on Customer input, market changes and personal use; assist with maintenance of algorithms; assist with user testing; and generally serve as champion for the Company’s software during the performance of duties • Provide pre-sales support to Business Development colleagues in demonstrating software, assessing Customer needs, developing Customer project estimates and development of Information Asset Inventories as requested. • Conduct on-line and in-person software SaaS product training sessions with Customers Top reasons to love this job - 1.
