Overview

Our client is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family-centered care in the operating room. The role involves handling instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures and supporting the organization's mission and values. Key Responsibilities ● Responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family-centered care in the operating room ● Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure ● Has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon ● Remains constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field ● Supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization Schedule and Shift Details ● Monday through Friday 7a - 3:30p. Weekend Requirements: every 3rd weekend

Qualifications

Required
  • Valid American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
    • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Valid NBSTSA
