Medical Surgical Nurse
Overview
As a Medical Surgical Nurse at our client, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating nursing care on a unit. You will maintain effective communication with other shifts and departments to ensure continuity of care and participate in education and skills upgrading. This role requires experience with Electronic Medical Records, vital signs reading, and injections/vaccinations. Key Responsibilities ● Planning, directing, and evaluating total nursing care on a unit ● Maintaining satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units ● Participating in education and skills upgrading of personnel ● Following supervisor's instructions and performing additional duties as requested Schedule and Shift Details ● 12-hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed, weekend rotation
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher

1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- NextGen Ambulatory EHR
- Other EMR

1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Nursing Informatics
- Care Management

ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC ALS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in New Hampshire (NH)
