Overview
Nurse Practitioner: Correctional Care Lansing, Kansas Full-time, Locum contract (Monday - Friday) We are seeking qualified physicians for a Kansas-based locum opportunity, where you’ll have the opportunity to work on a short-term basis for one of the top facilities in the area. During this assignment, you’ll be utilizing the medical model to meet a variety of healthcare needs with an ambulatory care as their primary focus, working with a variety of healthcare professionals and security officers in a correctional environment, responding to and initiate care for medical emergencies throughout the facility, and identifying patient health problems and prescribes treatment under direction of a physician Your hours for this position will be Monday-Friday and you’ll see a varying amount of patients per day. You’ll be required to have the following certifications in order to be qualified for this position: Graduate of an accredited college/university nurse practitioner program with current certification /licensure in the state of employment, and an active CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification.
