Physical Therapist

Overview

As a Physical Therapist, you will plan and administer physical therapy treatments to restore function and prevent disability. You will provide patient care, document treatment, and maintain professional conduct. Your responsibilities include treatment administration, patient education, and office management. This contract is located in Barnsboro, NJ Key Responsibilities ● Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatment ● Provide patient care in accordance with established protocols ● Responsible for timely documentation ● Assure patients are treated promptly ● Convey importance of complying with care plans to patients ● Delegate appropriate patient care activities ● Consult with referring physicians ● Pursue continuing education ● Review Physician's referral and patient's condition ● Test and measure patient's strength and development ● Plan and prepare written treatment programs ● Administer manual exercises ● Instruct and assist patients in physical activities ● Administer treatment involving physical agents ● Evaluate effects of treatment and adjust as needed ● Record treatment and progress ● Instruct patients and family in treatment procedures ● Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices ● Confer with Physician and other practitioners ● Analyze and organize office operations and procedures ● Maximize office productivity through software applications Schedule and Shift Details ● M-F, clinic hours 7a-7p. Guaranteed 20 hrs/wk, can be up to 40 hrs/wk. Candidate must work until close (7p) 2 times/wk. Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher
• ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • PT in New Jersey (NJ)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
• 1+ years of experience in ALL of the following:
  • Physical Therapy
  • Chronic pain
• Have you spoken to a relode recruiter via phone regarding this position?

• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Vestibular Therapy
  • Manuel Therapy
