Healthcare IT : DevOps Engineer Nashville, TN Full-Time We are seeking experienced dev professionals for a long-term Nashville based position. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment in a rapidly growing, dynamic organization. Responsibilities: 1. Structure and maintain the software configuration management system 2. Automate and maintain the software build process 3. Automate software deployment and monitoring 4. Automate software testing at multiple levels (component, configuration item, subsystem, system) and monitor results 5. Monitor site stability and performance and troubleshoot site issues 6. Scale infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand 7. Collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into production 8. Provide support to development teams that use the automated infrastructure 9. Develop and improve operational practices and procedures Preferred skills and experience for this position: 1. BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems or demonstrated industry hands-on experience 2. Minimum 5 years experience administering Linux systems 3. Experience in 24x7 production operations 4. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments (AWS, Rackspace) 5. Container based architecture and deployments (Docker) 6. Scripting languages (Ruby, Python, Perl) Top Reason to Love this Job: 1.
