Registered Nurse: Labor & Delivery Manager Orange Park, Florida Full-time Interested in a fast-paced, people-oriented nursing job? A Labor and Delivery Manager role might be the right fit for you! We are seeking a strong clinical manager/leader that has up to date and strong clinical experience in Labor and Delivery. The successful candidate will be someone that is not afraid to roll up her sleeves and get in the trenches with her nursing staff and support them to deliver the highest quality maternity care available. The staff is engaged and very involved in the department and they need a leader that is going to be supportive and willing to grow the team and help them to prosper. We are looking for someone that has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with not only the staff but the providers as well. Quality needs to be a huge focus; experience with driving obstetrical quality measures is a great plus. Our Labor and Delivery has 9 LDR rooms, 5 beds in Triage, 3 OB OR’s and we do 150 to 175 deliveries/month. We see a lot of high risk patients, preterm, hypertension, gestational as well at Type II diabetics, multiples and unfortunately substance abuse. We have a level II NICU to support the department and the goal is to move to level III as soon as possible. This manager will report directly to the Director of WCS and will be a part of a leadership team that consists of a manager of OBGYN/Mother/Baby and NICU, a dynamic Clinical Nurse Specialist, a Systems Analyst and a NICU Supervisor.
