Key Responsibilities ● Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests and other procedures within scope of MA certification ● Assist physician in examinations, including taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration ● Keep rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies ● Take and return patient phone calls as directed by Physician ● Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician ● Requisition supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock ● Assist with the maintenance of medical records including completion of referral forms, lab slips, and other documentation ● Assist patients getting to and from exam rooms and preparing for exams ● Work as a member of a team and be flexible

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
