NP - Outpatient Primary Care

This role offers a full-time opportunity to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care within a collaborative and multidisciplinary medical group. You will work closely with a diverse healthcare team to promote health, prevent disease, and support patient wellness. Key Responsibilities ● Perform medical acts independently in outpatient primary care setting ● Provide comprehensive care to individuals, families, and groups ● Promote health, prevent disease, and support wellness ● Lead and consult within the care team ● Collaborate with patients, families, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals ● Identify and address specialized teaching and learning needs ● Educate patients to support informed healthcare decisions ● Maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment for patients and staff ● Support daily practice operations in a cost-effective manner ● Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education Schedule and Shift Details ● Full-time position, 40 hours per week, exempt status. Not open to candidates who commute more than 1 hour. Not open to LOCUM or LOCUM to PERM candidates. Not open to candidates who plan to work this job in conjunction with another position.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher
• Primary Care (1+ years)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Vermont (VT)
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in Vermont (VT)
  • Pediatric (NP in Vermont (VT)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
• Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Board Eligible
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
• Valid APRN in Vermont (VT)
