Overview

Our client is seeking a compassionate Crisis Therapist with a master's degree and Michigan licensure to provide crisis intervention and mental health treatment to adults in the community. This role involves working closely with local police referrals, offering telehealth and in-person services, and supporting clients through transitional care. The position offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay based on licensure and experience, and a supportive team environment with comprehensive benefits. Key Responsibilities ● Provide screening, assessment and crisis intervention services via telehealth to adults referred by local police ● Determine appropriate level of care and least restrictive setting for services ● Provide transitional support, advocacy and care coordination in-person and/or via telehealth ● Be available via pre-programmed tablets for crisis calls from local police ● Respond immediately to crisis calls during scheduled on-call hours ● Provide crisis intervention and ongoing mental health treatment to clients receiving intensive case management, including those on Assisted Outpatient Treatment orders or Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity ● Deliver services in-person in office or community and/or via telehealth Schedule and Shift Details ● Regular hours Monday-Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm, Saturday 9 am to 1 pm; flexible scheduling available; some evening and weekend hours required; on-call responsibilities during business hours and voluntary after-hours on-call coverage Travel ● Mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle use at IRS standard rate (.70 per mile)

Qualifications

Required
  • Master's degree or higher
  • Social Work (1+ years)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Michigan (MI)
    • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Michigan (MI)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan (MI)
    • Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) in Michigan (MI)
    • Limited License Psychologist (LLP) in Michigan (MI)
