Hospice Medical Director - Part-Time | Virginia Hospice is one of the few areas of medicine where slowing down, listening, and guiding families may be the most important treatment you provide. A growing, physician-focused hospice organization is seeking physicians who believe compassionate end-of-life care deserves exceptional medical leadership. As a Hospice Medical Director, you'll help patients receive care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life while supporting families through one of life's most difficult journeys. You'll Be Responsible For • Medical oversight of hospice patients • Clinical leadership • Hospice certifications • Interdisciplinary team collaboration • Symptom management • Physician consultation • Community education and physician outreach This is a flexible, mostly remote position that allows you to continue your current practice while becoming part of an organization committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered care. Qualifications

Required
  • Doctorate degree
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Medical Doctor (MD)
    • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Hospice
    • Palliative Care
