Physician Clinic Medical Director

Overview

⚠️ Recruiter Payment Note: This client pays placement fees 90 days after the candidate's start date. Recruiter commissions will be paid once Relode receives payment from the client. If a candidate signs several months before their start date, your commission will be paid 90 days after the candidate begins employment, not when the employment agreement is signed. A doctor can receive a $100K hiring bonus and a $10K annual stipend! This role offers physicians the opportunity to blend patient care with leadership by providing clinical treatment and focusing on quality improvements and business growth. The position supports a family environment with the benefits and resources of a large organization. Candidates will enjoy a balanced work schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties, allowing time for personal activities and exploration. Key Responsibilities ● Provide 100% center-based direct patient care ● Mentor and lead by example demonstrating clinical excellence and exceptional patient experience ● Assume role and responsibilities of Clinic Medical Director at specific location ● Collaborate with Director of Medical Operations to improve clinical quality, workflows, safety, center performance, patient and client satisfaction ● Work with Director Team to identify clinical improvement opportunities and ensure workflow compliance ● Mentor and train future clinical leaders and clinicians ● Foster collaboration, professionalism, patient and colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and recognition ● Understand center financial drivers and outcomes to achieve business and strategic plans ● Assist other Clinic Medical Directors to understand financial and operational goals ● Maintain relationships with employers, payers, referral sources, networks, and local communities to drive market growth ● Respond to requests and issues within 24 hours ● Assist with planning clinician meetings and staffing adjustments ● May observe drug/alcohol testing of patients Schedule and Shift Details ● Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, no nights, no weekends, no holidays, no on-call

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree
• Managed Care (1+ years)
• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Clinical Quality
  • Quality & Risk Management
• Human Resources (1+ years)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Medical Doctor (MD) in California (CA)
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) in California (CA)
