General Radiologic Technologist
Overview
This contract role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a professional healthcare environment supporting our nation's Veterans. You will work directly with patients using modern imaging technology in a fast-paced clinical setting. Key Responsibilities ● Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations including X-ray, fluoroscopy, and DEXA studies ● Prepare and position patients and explain imaging procedures ● Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation ● Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety protocols ● Review pending cases and document delays when applicable ● Prepare and maintain imaging records within VA systems ● Utilize PACS and other electronic patient information systems ● Monitor patients during procedures and report significant changes to the appropriate provider ● Perform quality control and identify equipment malfunctions ● Maintain a clean and safe work environment Schedule and Shift Details ● Full-time contract opportunity
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher
- Radiology (1+ years)
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
