Overview

This opportunity allows you to use your advanced CT imaging skills in a professional clinical environment focused on serving Veterans. You will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring excellent patient care within a supportive healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities ● Perform CT examinations according to established protocols and physician orders ● Prepare, educate, and position patients for procedures ● Prepare and administer contrast agents as appropriate and within scope of practice ● Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to changes in condition ● Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation ● Perform quality control and evaluate images for clarity and accuracy ● Enter and maintain accurate patient and examination information ● Utilize PACS and electronic health record systems ● Follow radiation safety, infection control, and VA policies and procedures ● Document delayed or incomplete examinations as required Schedule and Shift Details ● Full-time contract role

Qualifications

Required
  • Associate degree or higher
Preferred
  • Credentialing (1+ years)
  • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
    • Computed Tomography Technologist
